ABSTRACT

Se presenta la propuesta de diseño de un Programa Virtual en Archivística e Inteligencia de Negocios para la Universidad de La Salle, de Bogotá-Colombia. Dicha propuesta se asume como un ejercicio curricular disruptivo, debido a que se pretende generar articulaciones entre los conocimientos y las prácticas típicamente archivísticas-informacionales-organizacionales con el conocimiento, métodos y técnicas de la inteligencia de negocios y, con ello, formar un profesional desde un enfoque que potencie el carácter estratégico de la toma de decisiones en todo tipo de instituciones, en conexión con las necesidades socio-productivas. La comparación de programas de pregrado, el análisis de tendencias conceptuales y metódicas de ambos campos, la caracterización de la demanda académico-profesional para la modalidad virtual y los criterios técnico-curriculares-normativos del Ministerio de Educación Nacional de Colombia, así como los lineamientos de la Universidad de La Salle fueron los elementos sustantivos de la metodología. Los principales resultados se traducen en el perfil profesional por competencias, resultados de aprendizaje, plan de estudios y aspectos de la gestión curricular del programa que se propone. Como conclusión se enfatiza en lo disruptivo como el elemento transversal que debe guiar el diseño y planeación de programas académicos en Ciencias de la Información, los cuales deben ofrecer alternativas que estén en sintonía con las demandas sociales, configuradas a partir de las transformaciones producidas por las tecnologías digitales, en articulación con procesos analíticos de alto valor agregado en las organizaciones(AU)


A design proposal of Virtual Program in Archiving and Business Intelligence is presented for Universidad de La Salle, in Bogotá, Colombia. Said proposal is assumed as a disruptive curricular exercise, since it is intended to generate articulations between typically archival-informational-organizational knowledge and practices with the knowledge, methods and techniques of business intelligence and, with this, training a professional from an approach that enhances the strategic nature of decision-making in all kinds of institutions, in connection with socio-productive needs. The comparison of undergraduate programs, the analysis of conceptual and methodical trends of both fields, the characterization of the academic-professional demand for the virtual modality and the technical-curricular-regulatory criteria of Colombia National Ministry of Education, as well as the guidelines from the Universidad de La Salle were the major methodological elements. The main results are translated into the professional profile by competencies, learning outcomes, study plan and aspects of the curricular management of the proposed program. In conclusion, disruption is emphasized as the transversal element that must guide designing and planning academic programs in Information Sciences, which must offer alternatives that are in tune with social demands, shaped from the transformations produced by the digital technologies, in coordination with analytical processes of high added value in organizations(AU)

ABSTRACT

Introducción: La gerencia empresarial, a lo largo de la historia, se ha preocupado por alcanzar objetivos y metas mediante la utilización de estrategias con el fin de tratar de garantizar los réditos que le permitan seguir trabajando en el tiempo. El interés de lograr alcanzar la eficiencia empresarial ha sido clave para que los investigadores modernos hayan realizado importantes aportes a la epistemología de las ciencias administrativas. Surge entonces la pregunta en la mente de los administradores: ¿Es de importancia la aplicación de indicadores claves de desempeño en la gerencia estratégica de las empresas de salud? Los indicadores claves de desempeño, o KPIs por sus siglas en inglés, forman parte del conjunto de métricos que la administración moderna utiliza para saber si el negocio está logrando los objetivos y metas planteadas por la gerencia. El tablero de mando integral de Kaplan y Norton, desde su aparición en el año de 1992, ha sido también de gran valor para la gerencia estratégica empresarial. Objetivo: Presentar la importancia que tiene la utilización de los indicadores claves de desempeño al ser aplicados en la gerencia estratégica de las empresas de salud. Metodología: Basada en el paradigma cualitativo-descriptivo de investigación acción, el cual se sustentó en literatura científica publicada entre los años 2017 y 2021 apoyado en las plataformas Google Scholar y SciELO. Los criterios de inclusión fueron artículos y textos que abordaran los temas de: indicadores claves de desempeño, inteligencia de negocios, gerencia estratégica y tablero de mando integral. Resultado y Conclusiones: El continuo monitoreo del ambiente competitivo en el que la empresa está inmerso, permite la adaptación de los métricos de acuerdo con los cambios del entorno. En la medida en que los métricos permitan a la empresa volverse líquida, es decir, facilitar que se amolde a los cambios en el medioambiente económico, se facilitará la toma de decisiones de negocios eficaces y oportunas.


Introduction: Business management throughout history has been concerned with achieving objectives and goals, through the use of strategies in order to try to guarantee the revenues that allow it to continue operating over time. The interest in achieving business efficiency has been key for modern researchers to have made important contributions to the epistemology of administrative sciences. The question then arises in the minds of administrators: Is it important to apply key performance indicators in the strategic management of health companies? Key performance indicators, or KPIs for its acronym in English, are part of the set of metrics that modern management uses to know if the business is achieving the objectives and goals set by senior management. Kaplan and Norton's Balanced Scorecard, since its appearance in 1992, has also been of great value for strategic business management. Objective: To present the importance of the use of key performance indicators when applied in the strategic management of health companies Methodology: Based on the qualitative-descriptive and hermeneutical paradigm in the which was based on studies between 2017 and 2021 supported by the Google Scholar and SciELO platforms. The inclusion criteria were articles and texts that addressed the topics of: key performance indicators, business intelligence, strategic management and balanced scorecard. Results and Conclusions: The continuous monitoring of the competitive environment in which the company is immersed, allows the adaptation of the metrics according to changes in the environment. To the extent that the metrics allow the company to become liquid, that is, make it easier to adapt to changes in the economic environment, effective and timely business decision-making will be facilitated.

ABSTRACT

In order to complete the information statistics and submission work of designated hospitals with high quality, a hospital uses the agile business intelligence system to carry out information construction, and realize the statistics, analysis and auxiliary management decision-making of COVID-19 patients′ admission data. Based on the low-load and full-volume data capture mechanism, relevant basic data in the background of the hospital information system was extracted, and the admission information visualization and early warning analysis system was built by establishing data relations, data modeling and other methods. The hospital completed 634 batches of data statistics and reporting tasks of 2 943 patients in a timely and efficient manner, and assisted clinical diagnosis and treatment improvement and hospital leadership decision-making by using data analysis, early warning feedback and other functions.

ABSTRACT

Resumo As ferramentas de gestão de dados, denominadas Business Intelligence (BI), podem ser importantes para fornecer informações completas e personalizáveis para as demandas da gestão em saúde. O objetivo é apresentar a avaliação da aplicabilidade e potencialidade do uso de uma ferramenta de BI no planejamento das ações de gestão da Atenção Primária em Saúde. Estudo exploratório, de abordagem quantitativa, tendo as dimensões de eficiência e otimização como atributos da qualidade. Seleção de uma Clínica da Família, da cidade do Rio de Janeiro, sendo inseridos no BI dados do território, do cadastro do Programa Bolsa Família e de linhas de cuidado, para explorar as possibilidades de combinação e de geração de indicadores. Neste artigo, apresentamos a Ficha A e a Linha de cuidado da gestante. Como resultados a ampliação de indicadores detalhados em relação à um tabulador comum e otimização na obtenção de listas e do monitoramento por parte das equipes e do gestor. Quanto à eficiência, seu baixo custo e fácil manuseio reduz custos de criação e de profissionais necessários. Conclui-se que a ferramenta viabiliza uma maior organização e planejamento, facilitando a gestão da Clínica da Família, sobretudo no monitoramento dos indicadores e processos avaliativos.


Abstract Data management tools, called Business Intelligence (BI), can be important to provide complete and customizable information for the demands of health management. The objective of the article is to present the evaluation of the applicability and potential of a BI tool in the planning of management actions of Primary Health Care. Exploratory study, with a quantitative approach, using the dimensions of efficiency and optimization as attributes of quality. A Family Clinic was selected in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Data from the territory, from the Bolsa Família Program register and some "Care Lines" were inserted in the BI, in order to explore the possibilities of combining and generating indicators. In this article, we present the use of Form A and the pregnant woman's Care Line. As a result, greater range of detailed indicators compared to a common tab, and optimization in obtaining lists and perform monitoring tasks by the teams and the manager. Regarding efficiency, its low cost and easy handling reduces the costs of creation and necessary professionals. As a conclusion, the BI tool enables greater organization and planning, facilitating the Family Health Clinic management, mainly for the monitoring of indicators and evaluation processes.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the research and application situation of Sunshine Medicine Electronic Monitoring Data Analysis System. METHODS:The Sunshine Medicine Electronic Monitoring data Analysis System based on business intelligence technology was introduced in respects of design process,development,implementation and application example. RESULTS:The whole architecture of the system mainly includes hospital business platform,data integration platform,information processing plat-form and application service platform;the functions of the system include medicine homepage show,single species analysis,antimi-crobial agent analysis,national essential medicine analysis,injection analysis and sunshine medicine analysis. It can monitor the drug utilization in multi-angle and multi-level manners by building data center and creating multidimensional models. Besides,the sys-tem could solve thedrugs unified coding and information controlproblems,data collection and information integrationprob-lems in different hospital,andthe efficient calculation and analysis of a large number of drug use data. It can realize drug analy-sis and monitoring in the hospital,analysis and online monitoring of drugs prescribed by the doctor,finding,warning and evaluat-ing abnormal phenomenon of drug use in the medical institutions,so that it is better for the supervisors to monitor the usage of drugs. CONCLUSIONS:The system with easy operation,flexible monitoring,rich chart shows,comprehensive monitor index has a positive effect on rational medication level.

Introducción: crear una ventaja competitiva sostenida exige de las organizaciones un enfoque y una actitud centrada en el aprendizaje tecnológico, en la innovación y en la implantación de la inteligencia empresarial. El arte de integrar estos aspectos garantizará la satisfacción de los clientes y el alto desempeño de los decisores. La práctica internacional en materia de inteligencia empresarial reconoce la necesidad de realizar estudios de vigilancia tecnológica acerca de la competencia: proveedores y clientes y para la actualización de las carteras de negocios y de productos. Objetivo: establecer un proceso de recopilación de la información externa en un Sistema de Inteligencia Empresarial integrado para la Industria del Diagnóstico In Vitro. Métodos: se realizaron búsquedas de información, en la Oficina Cubana de Propiedad Industrial, sobre el estado del arte en base de datos del Diagnóstico In Vitro, se utilizaron herramientas de investigación de mercado y análisis de tendencia para evaluar y estratificar la información recopilada de las bases de datos. Resultados: se confeccionó un procedimiento con fundamento científico, que brinda la posibilidad de que todos los actores se involucren en la toma de decisión. Fue aplicado en la Industria del Diagnóstico, lo que permitió conocer como se mueve este mundo y cuál es la línea de diagnosticadores que debe ser potenciada en el país para garantizar un servicio de excelencia en los laboratorios clínicos. Conclusiones: se cuenta con una herramienta de trabajo que permite, de forma inteligente, aplicar las acciones adecuadas en relación al escenario que se proyecte(AU)


Introduction: creating sustained competitive edge demands that the organizations have an approach and an attitude centered on technological learning, innovation and business intelligence implementation. The art of integrating these aspects will assure the satisfaction of clients and the great performance of decision-makers. The international practice in the field of business intelligence admits the need of carrying out technological surveillance studies on competition: suppliers and clients and for updating of business and product portfolio. Objective: to establish a process of external information gathering in an integrated business intelligence system for the in vitro diagnosis industry. Methods: information searches on the state of the art of in vitro diagnosis databases were made at the Cuban Office of Industrial Property; market research tools and trend analysis were used to evaluate and stratify the collection information from databases, Results: a scientifically founded procedure was created to give all the actors the possibility of being involved in the decision-making. It was applied in the diagnosis industry, which allowed knowing how this world is moving on and what the line of diagnostic devices should be potentiated nation-wide in order to guarantee an excellence service in the clinical laboratories. Conclusions: a working tool is available, which allows in an intelligent way to apply due actions in the depending on the setting(AU)

Command of the JCI standards and lessons learnt from practice and experience in JCI accreditation preparation,can help identify the gap between the hospitals and JCI standards.These standards can also guide the clinical pathway system,pharmacy intravenous admixture services system and medical business intelligence system.The information system built under such guidance not only makes an effective solution to existing problems,but also proves innovative.All these pave the way for successful JCI accreditation.

ABSTRACT

La presente investigación surgió como parte de la colaboración que existe entre la Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas y el Centro de Inmunología Molecular. El objetivo fue desarrollar un procedimiento que contribuyera al almacenamiento y análisis de los ensayos clínicos y que facilitara la aplicación integral de la inteligencia de negocios en esta actividad. Se realizó una propuesta de procedimiento para conducir el desarrollo de soluciones de inteligencia de negocios en el centro. El procedimiento fue evaluado a partir del método de experto Delphi y se obtuvo el resultado de Muy adecuado. Se contó además con un aval del centro cliente, donde se valoró de satisfactorio el trabajo realizado. La implementación de este procedimiento permitirá almacenar toda la información que se gestiona, de manera íntegra y estándar, con lo que se logrará viabilizar los análisis estadísticos que se necesitan realizar por parte de los especialistas de la institución


Present paper appeared as part of cooperation existing between the Information Sciences University and the Center of Molecular Immunology. The aim was to develop a procedure contributing to storage and analysis of clinical trials and to integral application of business intelligence service in this activity. A procedure proposal was made to manage the development of solutions in business intelligence in our center. Procedure was assessed from the method of the Delphi expert method obtaining a result qualified as very appropriate. Implementation of this procedure will allows storing all information managed in an integral and standard way, thus achieving to make viable the statistic analyses needed to be performed by the specialists of the institution

ABSTRACT

O cenário das organizações públicas de saúde vem passando por grandes mudanças nos últimos anos pela busca da melhoria do seu sistema de gestão. Esse contexto depara-se com a inexistência de uma área responsável pelo uso estratégico da informação na estrutura organizacional do Ministério da Saúde – ao nível do Gabinetedo Ministro ou da Secretaria Executiva – capaz de buscar mecanismos e instrumentos, metodologias e formas de organização que possam garantir a inovação da gestão de saúde, respondendo com flexibilidade e rapidez o requerimento de informaçõesestratégicas, tempestivas e confiáveis, construídas a partir de dados de diferentes origens, que auxiliem no sucesso e êxito das decisões dos gestores. O objetivo central deste estudo é identificar e explorar no âmbito da literatura e de algumas experiênciasde organizações da administração indireta na área da gestão da informação os limites e as possibilidades da adoção das tecnologias Business Intelligence - BI e InteligênciaCompetitiva - IC para a área da saúde e, particularmente, para o DATASUS. Arevisão da literatura revelou que há experiências concretas de incorporação da IC e do BI em várias áreas de atuação, com resultados expressivos e maior eficiência para as empresas. Nas organizações da administração indireta brasileira visitadas, verificou-seuma construção ainda incipiente desta área, contudo com forte direcionamento para sua incorporação. Na área da saúde foram encontradas poucas experiências.
